Sculpting in Marble in Pietrasanta

In the Tuscan artists’ town of Pietrasanta, I offer small-scale marble sculpture courses. You work in a small group of five to six participants, with plenty of personal guidance and close attention to technique.

The course is suitable for both beginners and more experienced participants. You start by making a model, and from there you work step by step towards your own sculpture in marble.

Working in Italy means working with focus in an environment where art and craftsmanship are a natural part of daily life. Among studios, galleries and marble workshops, a special combination of craftsmanship, exchange and inspiration emerges.

During the course, there is also room for short visits to studios in the area. We regularly have lunch in small local restaurants, following the Italian rhythm of the pranzo di lavoro.
